The periods covers 1964 - 1968, a time before the band would become known as the Alice Cooper group. They performed under various names during this time; The Earwigs, The Spiders, and finally the Nazz before settling on Alice Cooper in the early part of 1968.

PRESS RELEASE:

The "Spiders" who have recently changed their name to "The Nazz" have played together for three years, evolving from top 40 to hard Rock N Roll and R&B. They are currently writing their own original songs with an attempt at an original sound. They are the only Band in Phoenix who do a majority of original material on stage.

The "Nazz" will be on tour with "The Who", "The Young Rascals" , "Mc Coys" , and "Ian Whitcomb" during the month of July. They will also be doing a week long engagement at "Gazzarri’s-on the strip" sometime in June.
