Young America
ALICE COOPER: Love It To Death (Straight STS 1065).
Best LP so far by Alice, whose bulldozer music and clever lyrics have even resulted in an American hit for "I'm Eighteen" included here. It's all pretty much in the Young America bag, plenty of blatent kicking out of every possible jam and a few more besides, but not quite enough talent/experience to do in a particularly convincing way. It ends up with a good version of "Sun Arise," the old Rolf Harris hit. It really is good, although your head would need to be in Young America to be able to FULLY appreciate it.
