Alice Cooper makes stop at Austad's Golf

Shock rocker Alice Cooper was in Sioux Falls today, spotted at the east location of Austad's Golf checking out the gear. Cooper plays the Sioux Empire Fair at 8 p.m. tonight.

Dave Austad, president of Austad's Golf, said Cooper shopped for about an hour, bought a set of irons, and said he plays everyday. "He said it's great that no one wants to hear him at 8 a.m., his normal tee time," Austad said.

Cooper says it takes a large crew to put together his show and keep it rolling from city to city and country to country.

He's got lots of new set props this time around, like a new gallows, guillotine, giant hypodermic needle and even a new microphone stand/impaler.
